Here’s a little love letter going out to all the LOUD persons out there,
‘LOUD’ here doesn’t refer to people who use upper case online, but those who talk LOUDLY, or even sing LOUDLY as they’re going about their daily affairs.
It’s perfectly acceptable if you happen to have the misfortune of working in a noisy environment with too many din-making machines. Or if you’re talking to someone who’s hearing impaired.
But otherwise, guys, please *understand* that there are many people around you who would appreciate some peace and quiet – they just have their reasons for not telling you.
So — if you’re one of those LOUD people, who speak LOUDLY just to emphasise your presence in the hall, or are LOUD because you can be LOUD, then please tone it down!
This advisory also includes people who wear headphones and hear songs in high volume, where the headphone acts as a speaker and in real everyone around can hear clearly hear what you are listening to.
Bad enough if that was all there was to it – sometimes, these people are also inclined to sing out LOUD. Please realise that since you are wearing headphone and the volume is turned up, you won’t hear a thing but think of others around you. You may think your voice is God’s gift to humanity, but the painful truth is that it often sounds like a cat’s mewling.
- a silent sufferer.
