I have a Love – Hate relationship with Delhi. A city with more than 2500 years of history
and that has undergone massive political and cultural turmoil from the day it was formed. Even today, Delhi boasts of its rich history and Mughal architecture on one side and its contemporary and modern lifestyle on other side. Like any other ancient city in India, Delhi has its own charm and beauty that will always be a mystery for outsiders.
When I first landed here I was thrilled. I was totally lost, new language, culture, food etc. But it was only for a while, as I was to spend atleast four years in Delhi, I made myself ready for my Delhi phase. I made friends, and usual college life. I was accustomed with Dilli, the food, language, people et all.
It was not a cake walk for me in Delhi, but no city is easy. I would surely miss Dilli ki sardi (Delhi’s winter). Generally Summer allover India is hot. But strangely, I get sunburns only in Delhi.
There are many things I would not really miss, but equally there are loads of stuffs that I would miss, especially my friends. After spending five years here, I can never conclude if I like it or not. But I can surely say I would miss Delhi.

Am in Delhi for the last two days, and visiting after a long time…gives me the same feeling that it did then – vibrant. I miss gol gappas and chat, the rush and haat !
Somethings just dont change even after so many years..

Hi Hitesh, yup, no place can beat Delhi's gol gappe. I miss them too. But every city has its own specialty that should be explored/tasted.
I have not stayed in B'lore for long to experience its climate. I enjoy Delhi ki sardi, but not garmi.
